Fred Durst, frontman of LIMP BIZKIT, has sued Universal Music Group (UMG), claiming he is owed millions in unpaid royalties. Durst alleges that UMG has used fraudulent practices to hide profits, depriving him and other artists of their earnings. Despite selling over 45 million records and generating significant streams, Durst claims he hasn’t received royalties from UMG. The lawsuit, filed in California, seeks $20 million in damages, but Durst believes the total owed could exceed $200 million. UMG is accused of breach of contract, fraud, and copyright infringement.
