As usual, Hollywood doesn’t know what a teaser is because this is a full-blown trailer for The Last of Us season 2 on Max (as in HBO Max).

Those who watched the first season expect that we are in for some beautiful and terrifying heartbreak. Those who played the second video game in the series the show is based on KNOW that we are. No direct word on a release date, other than the vague promise of “2025”. But this trailer does lend some confidence to the idea we won’t have to wait too long into 2025 to return to the world of cordyceps. In any case, we can’t wait to see what’s next.
