New York’s Cream Cheese Festival Dishes Out World’s Largest Cheesecake!

At the annual Cream Cheese Festival in Lowville, New York, Kraft-Heinz decided it was time to reclaim their crown for biggest cheesecake – and boy, did they! After losing the title in 2017 to a Russian team (who apparently brought a 9,347-pound cheesecake to the table), Derrick Langdon and his crew went full “go big or go home” mode. The result? A whopping 15,008-pound cheesecake, because, why not?

Langdon said it best: “If you’re gonna break a record, why not make it impossible for anyone else to try?” A Guinness World Records official confirmed the cheesecake’s absurd size before attendees dug in. And the leftovers? Donated to food banks, proving that even world-record-sized desserts can give back!
