Hundreds Flock to UK Pub for the Wild ‘World Gravy Wrestling Championships’

Hundreds of spectators gathered on Monday to watch the “World Gravy Wrestling Championships” at the Rose ‘N’ Bowl pub in Lancashire. The annual event, known as one of the top ten strangest sports, featured 16 men and 8 women wrestling in a ring filled with 528 gallons of gravy. Participants, dressed in creative costumes, competed in two-minute matches, with winners chosen by judges based on wrestling skill and costume. The male and female champions each received $66 and had their names engraved on the trophy. The event also raised money for East Lancashire Hospice and other charities.
