A Massachusetts man is making waves with a reward for the return of his wallet after it was “gull-napped” by a feathery thief outside a grocery store.

Noah Karberg of Nantucket took a break from fishing to stop at the Stop & Shop. Little did he know, his trip was about to take a flighty turn. Karberg placed his phone and wallet in the tray on top of his shopping cart, where they stayed while he loaded groceries into his truck.

Just as he was getting ready to drive off, a seagull swooped in and snatched the wallet, making a beeline for the roof of a nearby car wash. Karberg, ever the modern fisherman, caught the entire escapade on video. “It was like a gull with an agenda,” he joked. “Tossed the cash and went straight for my Amex.”

Karberg posted in a local Facebook group, offering anyone who finds the wallet the remaining cash inside and an extra $100 reward for the return of his license and cards. So, if you see a seagull living it up with a shiny new credit card, you know who to call!
