It’s such a tragedy witnessing someone drop their food. Outside the bar at a pizza place or in this case on LIVE tv. Gene what a good sport he is. Doing a cut-in with Sportsnet during the Oilers vs Predators game Tues night he dropped his ‘Edmonton Hot Dog”, as the stadium apparently show cases 11 different hot dogs. While talking about said hot dog it rolls off his fries that he’s holding up to the camera. Someone behind the scenes wipes the dog and Gene digs in! Hot dog with cheese curds and gravy! It was not the 5 second rule that sound the alarm for me, it was the fact he took a bite in the MIDDLE of the hot dog. Like he was eating a burger. Also didn’t get any food on his face after said bite! A man of many talents and eating dog dogs is added to that list! HA
